About Us @ Green 180

We are teachers. We are facilitators wanting to lead the children into the 21st century with the skills and know-how to be successful contributors to their global community.

Green 180 was created by one teacher who wanted to share her passion of technology, culture and learning with her students. By sharing this passion with her students and encouraging other students around the world to participate, she hoped to light a fire of passion within many.

"My desire is not just to excite the kids about science and technology, but to spark something within them that lasts their lifetime and beyond. I think as teachers we all hope we can have that affect, even if it is just in one child. As a child, I had quite a few teachers that sparked my passion to read, write and to give back. One taught me about conservation, one taught me how to help others, and many just gave me the tools to do it all and do it well. We can all make a difference in our communities by just being an active part of them," said creator Lea Anne Daughrity.
